We zullen spelen in Parktheater Eindhoven en mogelijk ook in Veldhoven en Valkenswaard. De voorstellingen zijn in mei en juni 2026, op voorwaarde dat fondsen positief zullen oordelen over onze aanvragen. Voor ons is de creatieve uitwisseling van ideeën over vormgeving de bron voor het te ontwikkelen decor van de voorstelling. Het is de bedoeling dat de decorontwerper (m/v/x) in samenwerking met de regisseur komt tot de uiteindelijke keuzes, maar voorop staat dat eigen ideeën en creativiteit van de ontwerper het startpunt zijn voor die vormgeving. The play is set on the fictitious tropical island of St Valentina. The staging should give a feeling of dislocation, instability, liminality, flux - where the parts do not add up to the whole.
Video projections are indicative of place and give a dreamy quality to segues and scene changes. Doorways on wheels and the few items of furniture are indicative of place, they can be rotated by the apartment STAFF as diurnal changes take place.
